I don't know if the ride will happen this year. The plan was for me to spearhead the first ride and let the Cozad Chamber members pick it up and run with it. This doesn't appear to be happening. We might continue it with a low-key, grass roots, unsupported, socialbutalwaysendsupcompetitiveanyway kind of ride. No tshirts unless someone wants to design them on one of those online tshirt design/order places. Thoughts?

  1. I definitely think it should happen. Do you think it would help if the Cozad Chamber started receiving emails and calls asking about when it's going to happen? And mention all the business it's going to bring in? And how many cyclists are going to swear off Cozad if it doesn't happen?

  2. My husband and I had a great time doing this event! I've been looking for info on it and I see it has mushroomed like I'd hoped. I was hoping for a 75 miles course as I don't think we'd be ready for much more. I'll book mark this site and do the wait and see.

  3. Don't sell yourself short! If you can do 75 I bet you can do 100.

  4. Hopefully you guys get notified that I've updated about the ride! It's going to be even better! I hope that only having the 100 miles isn't a deterrent. Between myself and Culligan, we'll have a free ride for those who can't make the whole thing! If you just want to come and socialize, the new bike trail at the lake is a MUST RIDE if you haven't been on it yet! I'm going to contact the trails committee and see if they will join us and anyone will be able to contribute to the completion of it.
